Nice and secluded. Did not use it, but they had a sign that said bring your laptop near the office and enjoy free wi-fi. Great trails and lake. Rest rooms and showers are old, but the plumbing works well and were very clean.

Though the trip was wonderful because we were in the Park everyday, I want to point out specifics on the camping side. The sites are small, but they are very far apart. Asphalt to park on - electric connections are far away - bring an extension. Great showers and rest rooms, laundry rooms on each loop. Several pools, volleyball, shuffleboard, activities for all ages all day and into the night, horse riding, several stores (of course at Disney prices), boat rentals, etc. Stores even have beer, wine, and liquor (mini-bottles and regular sizes). No fires at sites, only charcoal grill. Will definitely be back and spend less time in the parks next time.

This place should be called Wildlife Park - or at least Deer Island. Wonderful lake front sites, and we saw deer, Canadian geese, buzzards, and even an eagle. CG would be perfect if you had a boat (and the weather was warmer than January). The only real reason for the 7 was the sites are tiny, and some are hard to back in (you got to know your neighbors real quick, as everybody was always helping to direct new comers around the trees). The water and electric hookups are far from pads, and though the pads are paved, the rest of the site is not very level - but it's a state park, and you're on the lake so that doesn't really matter. Would stay here again (but would pick a warmer month).

Always a great experience - friendly staff, great river, great rates. $18 for most sites, $20 for sites on river. Only reason not a 10 is some staff use leaf blowers to clean up.

Great place surrounded by fish filled lake. Even better if you bring a boat.

Very secluded and not used by many. If you want to get away from everything, this is the place. Plenty of trails and a wonderful lake filled with wildlife (including gator in summer).
